Mediafire download, thanks to ladycaoimhe
Aelphia volunteered to scanlate it if I remember correctly, so look forward to that. :3
I know that the previous post already had a tiny bit of discussion going on, but since it's so far down the page now I thought a lot of people would overlook it. So, let's continue the discussion here?

Also, because I don't feel like making a separate post for this...

There is a replica of the Kairoushuu's website here:
I thought it was pretty neat... and it seems like an English version will open up soon. :D

Nabari came in at #14 on Newtype July's top 20 anime list:
1. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
2. Macross Frontier
3. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
4. Soul Eater
5. Gundam 00
6. Gintama
7. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
8. Lucky Star
9. Neon Genesis Evangelion
10. Da Capo II Second Season
11. Gundam SEED
12. Junjou Romantica
13. xxxHolic Kei
14. Nabari no Ou
15. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki
16. One Piece
17. Kyo Kara Maou
18. To Love-Ru
19. Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann
20. Clannad

Junjou Romantica wtf?
Seems like the series is getting pretty popular. Go Nabari! <3

WTF why is R2 number one? That's Nabari no Ou's or Gundam 00's spot 8'D!!

Thanks for sharing the link to chapter 48 (although I won't have a closer look to avoid spoiling myself) and the info!
Jun. 20th, 2008 06:11 pm (UTC)
Soooooooo seconded. Yeah, I meant Gundam00 as well *__* I meet more and more fans of these two particular series, how cool, haha.

*fighting the urge to read the scans, adfkasfjkadafsaf*
Jun. 20th, 2008 06:27 pm (UTC)
Hell yes <3 I seriously don't understand R2's popularity, the first season's way superior in all terms anyway...
Jun. 20th, 2008 06:42 pm (UTC)
IMO, R2 appears to have a slightly better storyline and such, but my other self seemed to enjoy the first season more XDD Really, I like it, but I completely can't get into it.

Okay, maybe the fact that it's replaced my lovely Gundam00 is also the reason *gets shot*, but anyways...there are other series more fit for the first place *__*;;

W-whoa, Nabari beat One Piece and Gurren Lagann?

Thanks for sharing the link! *__*

The colored picture with Yoite and Miharu is so, so, so pretty I just want to hug my monitor.

/ useless post that doesn't contribute to the discussion, sorry

...at first i thought that said that it made you want to hug your mother.

my bad.

...does this list include anime not currently airing, or is the first season of Code Geass and Neon Genesis still airing?

Aside from that... amused at Junjou Romantica, though, it is a very cute show. Like... even though I hate the art, and it has to win the most cliche anime EVER award, it still gives you a nice warm feeling to watch it. Kyou Kara Maou makes me happy that it's on there. As well as Gintama. XD I can't believe it's number 6. That's insane, that show's not meant to be taken seriously enough to place on a top 20 anime list! <3 Hm... and I gues this is incentive to continue watching Holic Kei and start up on Macross Frontier. But, ugh, why is One Piece there?
Jun. 20th, 2008 10:40 pm (UTC)
There's no limit to what anime can be on that list, I think.
With Nabari, Junjou, and KKM on this month's list, I'd say there was a sudden influx in fangirls reading Newtype. Asian people love Gintama. Too bad it has like no recognition overseas. ;_;
I don't know why One Piece is on there, considering everything else on that list is BL, moe, mecha, or good shounen.
Jun. 20th, 2008 10:58 pm (UTC)
Lol, I think with Gintama... it wouldn't be able to have much recognition overseas because a lot of its jokes are only recognizable to the Japanese themselves because they're quoting/parodying famous movies, songs, tv shows, cultural aspects, etc. I think even the regular anime fan has a tough time understanding all the jokes in there, unless plenty of footnotes are provided, and that would be a terrible hassle to fansubbers/dubber. Which is why I also don't think it'll ever be licensed. Can you imagine trying to translate all that into English into something that makes sense?

...uh, anyway, sorry, veered off topic...

Woah woah ehhh? Junjou beat Nabari? T_T
And yay! chp 48! Thankies~!
But wow, I guess Macross Frontier may be watching. Hm.

Snagging~ Thanks! ♥ This was a wonderful chapter!! *___*
Jun. 21st, 2008 01:41 am (UTC)
Wow, even I didn't bother to save every page like that. xD;
Jun. 21st, 2008 01:43 am (UTC)
Oh good thanks Asa, those are wonderful scans...now maybe someone can tell me....

(spoiler space)

What Miharu is saying to Yoite in that scene where it looks like they are about to kiss. Im' guessing Hanna is reading into it more than they wanted to by the mortified looks on their faces, lol. (Hana the BL fangirl)

I'm glad Nabari's climbin' up there. And not surprised that Code Geass and Macross are at the top.

Sad...the Japanese on the Kairoushuu site isn't showing up on my computer. It's all a bunch of D~TO'IZ",",sOIJ. Which is odd because I have the Japanese language pack installed and everything. =/

Some translations from the illiterate me before I turn in for the day, starting from the first page with Yoite and Miharu: (iffy translations are in {brackets}) (translated from the Chinese trans, so they might be off...)

Page 32:
Shijima: The Shinrabanshou appears to have returned.
Miharu: If we don't keep quiet, we'll be seen by them... They've already come to Banten...
Yoite: I'm heavy, I'm sorry... Miharu.
Miharu: Don’t worry.

Page 33:
Yoite: ... Are you...not happy?
Miharu: About what?
Yoite: Not only you, but the other three at Banten don't have a fragment of Kira in them...
Miharu: Yeah.
I'm happy.
{But I don't feel happy.} (or, he's not showing that he's happy?)
Hey... We haven’t canceled our promise, right?

Page 34:
Miharu: You can't die before I before the king of Nabari.
Even if we want to rest, we can't return home.
{If I can speak to the fairy one more time, maybe I could find some clues.
Maybe Thobari-sensei's house has some clues.}

Page 35:
Miharu: Of course, we can't let Hanabusa-san find us.
So, excuse us, Hanabusa-san. {We really feel like ninjas now, don’t we?}

Page 36:
Yoite: Miharu…
Miharu: That's no good, Yoite. You can go and hide.
Yoite: But—
Miharu: Wait here for me, Yoite.
I'll come back really soon—
Hanabusa: Please use the front door if you want to come in.

Page 37:
Miharu and Yoite: ..........
Hanabusa: ufufu!
You shouldn't underestimate Hanabusa-obasan's "premonitions", Miharu-kun!
Jun. 21st, 2008 09:43 am (UTC)

12. Junjou Romantica
13. xxxHolic Kei
14. Nabari no Ou
